The Broadsword is a strict upgrade to the Sword, having 2 extra damage at every stage.
As a drop, it's designed to do larger amounts of pure damage unlike weapons like the Hammer and Whip which are designed to inflict status effects.

The Warrior's Welcome, Curse of Greed, Worse than a Curse, Elimination Round (Warrior), Bonus Round (Warrior):
- Can generate in shops on floors 2 and 3.
Enter the Inventor, Double Rubble, The Inevitability of Rust, Elimination Round (Inventor):
- Can generate in chests on floor 3
- Can generate in shops on floors 2 and 3.
