Hothead (Bonus Round Rule)

The Hothead bonus round rule is one of the many rules that can be applied during the Bonus Round episodes. It can be offered on any floor for any character but is more likely upon entering floors 2 or 3.

Hothead If you or your enemy rolls a six, it automatically catches on fire.

When the rule activates, each time a dice with a value of 6 appears for either player or enemy, it will be set on fire. This means that each 6 costs 2 health to use (which can be mitigated by Reduce).

This rule applies not only to 6s that are naturally rolled, but 6s generated by equipment like Midnight Charm, Duplicate, and Spanner. Additionally, if either fighter uses a 6 on equipment that returns the dice, like Keyblade, it will catch on fire again when returned.

This is slightly different from the normal Burn status, as 6s burned in this way can be Frozen or Locked, unlike with the normal Burn. If a 6 ignited by the Hothead rule is frozen, the fire is immediately put out.

This rule can work well with the Bounty Hunter or Cowboy rules, since the first rule keeps you safe from most burns and the latter rule makes it so that the enemy has to take damage to use the guaranteed 6.
