Rose Shield is a rare status effect that grants 1 Thorns to the user every time they take damage that turn.

This status stacks and only lasts until the start of the user's next turn, similar to Thorns.

The Thorns can also be accumulated through self-damage from equipment like Double Edge or Stumble, as well as damage from extinguishing burned dice.

If facing a Cowboy with 1 Rose Shield, this may happen if the Cowboy uses all his equipment on his turn:

1. Cowboy uses Number 3, dealing 2 damage and giving 1 Thorns to the player.
2. Cowboy then uses Number 5, dealing 2 damage to you and 1 to himself, leaving you with 2 Thorns.
3. Cowboy then uses Number 1, dealing 2 damage to you and 2 to himself, leaving you with 3 Thorns.
4. Cowboy then uses Number 4, dealing 2 damage to you and 3 to himself, leaving you with 4 Thorns.
5. Cowboy then uses Number 2, dealing 2 damage to you and 4 to himself, leaving you with 5 Thorns.
6. Cowboy then uses Number 6, dealing 2 damage to you and 5 to himself, leaving you with 6 Thorns.

As a result, the Cowboy has taken 15 damage from his own attack thanks to Rose Shield.
