Pugnacious Sword is a piece of equipment in Dicey Dungeons that does more damage the more it gets used on its turn. Essentially, if three 4s are used on it, the first 4 will do 4 damage, the second 4 will deal 4*2=8 damage, and the third 4 will deal 4*3=12 damage, for a total of 24 damage.

Since it appears in the Inventor's Reunion episode , it'll usually be destroyed with these uses unless it's preserved or its uses are kept up through Grindstone or Whetstone.
