The equipment in Dicey Dungeons serve as the primary way of performing actions in Dicey Dungeons, including attacking enemies, inflicting status effects, and manipulating dice.
Equipment can be found by opening chests, purchasing it from shops, and trading for new equipment at trading posts. In order to upgrade equipment, players can visit Ned at the anvil to get one piece of equipment upgraded for free.
The player has six slots for equipment usable during battle, but can carry twenty more slots of equipment in their backpack.
In order to use most equipment, the player and the enemy place dice within. The dice often (but not always) affect the strength of the equipment.
Some equipment have passive effects, meaning that they have conditions that will activate even if no dice are placed within.
