====== Reversal ======

**Reversal** is a gadget for the [[characters:inventor|Inventor]] that swaps all enemy equipment with the player's equipment. Equipment taken in this way is kept by the player permanently, and any equipment given to the enemy is lost permanently. This allows the Inventor to get enemy equipment as scrap, and is the only way for her to scrap equipment into gadgets like [[skills:Poison Arrow]] or [[skills:Scream]].

The gadget is usable once per turn (and is not given to the enemy).

If the Inventor uses Reversal and then flees from the battle, the enemy will regain their equipment. This can be used to gain multiple copies of enemy equipment, since gadgets are kept after fleeing from any battle.
